Please note that we will be closed on Thanksgiving Day as well as the week of December 20 - 26 for Christmas Vacation. During several weekends in December as well as New Years Day, we will be serving Pho Ga (Vietnamese Chicken Noodle soup). It’s a hearty soup consisting of chicken in a seasoned broth, rice noodles, bean sprouts, green onions and served with lime wedges, cilantro, hoisen sauce and spicy sriracha sauce. It’s a filling meal for only $60 pesos.
Also, we are in the process of making pumpkin pie gelato for the 1st time. Come in this week (November 19-24) and try a scoop. It’s delicious!
Because Diego’s Deli will be moving to another location, we will soon be hosting the Spanish classes that meet on Mondays and Fridays and maybe the political discussion group that meets on Thursdays. If you would like to know more about these classes/groups, you can still contact Dennis from Diego’s Deli. My husband Chris is in one of the Spanish classes and he says that the teacher is really good!
The people who attended our last Bunco decided that it would be nice to bring a small toy(s) for donation to Sister Clare’s Toy Drive at our next Luncheon. So anyone interested in coming to Bunco on Wednesday, December 9, please bring a small toy. Since it will be the last Bunco before Christmas, a few would like to bring a dessert to share in the season. Of course, the toy and dessert is optional. The cost is $15 and includes Mongolian BBQ, a beverage, dessert (those brought in by others or our homemade gelato), $2 for tip plus a contribution toward the gift certificate prizes to local restaurants. If you have not played before, it’s really a no-brainer, and is a lot of fun. You have an opportunity to meet many people because you change partners each game.
