Mexican Consulate marks Binational Health Week

SAN DIEGO — The Mexican Consulate in San Diego is marking its annual Binational Health Week, which will run through Oct. 9.
The cross-border event includes health fairs, screenings, classes and informational events in San Diego County and the Tijuana area.
Local events will include nutrition classes, cancer screenings and education, depression education and AIDS awareness events throughout the county. In addition, information booths with representatives from community clinics, banks and other services will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily all week at the consulate, 1549 India St. in Little Italy.
