News from La Bomba Restaurant in Rosarito
Hello all!
Time flies, and Labor Day is nearly upon us! Attached you'll find our "daily specials" menu for September. There are a couple of noteworthy items:
**We are closing early (2:00p.m.) on Labor Day. Once the breakfast/lunch hours end, we're all heading home for a little R&R time!
**
We will be CLOSED for one week in September.Everyone deserves a week to relax, and it's time for La Bamba to shut the doors for a week and spend some time enjoying life, our families, and the September sunshine. We'll be closed starting Friday, the 18th and we will re-open Friday the 25th.
"Helping our Community"** La Bamba was thrilled to be asked to participate in a fund raiser in August for a local family that recently lost their house to a fire. The event, hosted by Keri & Mike at the Pyramid Resort, made for a beautiful day. We donated apple pies, jams, and gift certificates to the raffle, along with several other local restaurants. We send our continued good wishes out to this family, and hope that the fund raiser is a good start to building a new home.
**On August 30th we provided lunch for 15 of Rosarito's volunteer lifeguards - "las salvavidas". We were pleased that the city asked for our help for these hard-working, much needed volunteers that help to keep our beaches safe.
**A big "thank you" to all of our customers that responded to the call for school supplies for the kids in Primo Tapia! From the folks that I've spoken with, it sounds like there was a good response. We appreciate it, and we know that the kids do, too!
Your continued patronage really help support our efforts to maintain a clean, friendly, quality restaurant while also allowing us to put our best foot forward in our efforts to help the community that we live in and love!
If you know anyone who hasn't been to La Bamba, please bring them in to see us! Once they try us, we hope they'll come back again and again. No matter how many bucks are (or aren't) in the advertising budget, "word of mouth" always works best anyway!!
