Message from DIF's President, Sra. Rosa Torres
MESSAGE FROM SRA. ROSA TORRES, PRESIDENT, DIF
DIF works directly with the neediest members of our community, mainly children, abused women and seniors.
Since we are in the middle of the Holidays we would be very grateful if you could help us collect unwrapped toys for our neediest children in town and /or blankets for our senior citizens.
We are also donating family Holiday Dinners (for eight people) for a total of $25.00 USD/per family. We are asking for money because it is much easier for the people to come and pick up their ticket and go to Comercial Mexicana on the 24th and get a hot dinner, all packed up and ready to take home. Many people don't even have gas to cook with. Without our help these people will have nothing to eat at Christmas.
I am very grateful for any donation you can give us. I am sure if we all help each other we can all live in a better place.
