Improving Rosarito's Libraries
MESSAGE FROM FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY---
We have been moving forward in the organization of the Friends of the Library. We decided to address the physical needs of the branch libraries first - starting with the Primo Tapia branch. So far we have caused the restrooms to become functional and have repaired a dangerous electrical problem. The Library is currently closed due to the change in Rosarito's administration but should be staffed again after Dec. 1. We plan to use this down time at the library to do the following: tile bathroom floors, paint bathroom walls, replace bathroom light fixtures, measure for storage cabinets for bathrooms, paint walls of main library, refinish legs of existing work tables and plan landscaping.
MEETINGS SCHEDULED
November 7 - 10 a.m. - Meet at the Primo Tapia branch to plan the work and get volunteers to do the work. This will probably be followed by lunch because we always seem to end up eating somewhere.
November 14 - 9 a.m. - ? - Actually get to work.
